Grammy's, Dance X and Hollywood Blockbusters
December is proving to be a bustling month at Uptown Studios with a host of new faces arriving to record. Our resident producer Anthony Galatis is working with Grammy Award winning mixing engineer John Hudson who he's collaborating with at both Uptown Studios and Mayfair Studios this month. They're working on a new pop outfit called 'Holah' and 2 of the songs featured in the band's promo package have been written by songwriting team Mark Frisch and Anthony Galatis.
We're recording Jon Moon's online courses on Graphs, Tables and more. The courses compliment his book How to make an impact which will be in bookstores this month in time for Christmas.
We're also happy to welcome new singer/songwriters Rupert Oxlade, Clo Thebe and Vadim Bazhenov to the studio this month.
News just in is that a track produced by Joshua Alamu (of Dance X fame) and Anthony Galatis at Uptown Studios has been picked up for use in a forthcoming Hollywood blockbuster trilogy called Dark Eden. Watch this space! Joshua has also been appointed the musical director for the soundtrack and has approached Anthony to co-produce the master cut too. Congratulations Josh!
